About Us

Founded in 1991 by Artisan Don Emilio Castro Martinez, Tonalart is an exporter of the finest handmade art and crafts from Mexico. These arts and crafts are made available to the general public through our website and to our wholesale customers via our website, and major gift fairs.
Tonalart is a direct manufacturer of most of our products and the rest we work directly with all of our producers and strictly adhere to fair-trade practices. Tonalart is committed to working with the indigenous people of Mexico and giving back to those communities we work with. A portion of all sales are set aside and distributed to projects we feel are most needed in these communities.
